Building 18
This is Cisco's building 18. I'm in this building this week, finishing up my contract which covered migrating Greenfield Networks into Cisco. Next week, I'll be moving to building 19 next door, where I start my new job.
Another view of a rock
Another picture I took at Cisco this week. this is the same rock form a different point of view.

New Year, New Camera, New Pictures, New Thoughts
Well, it's 2007. Nice. 2006 was rather good year. I see lots of promise in 2007. I hope it lives up to that promise.
Near the end of last year, I gave myself a Christmas present: a new Canon EOS 30D. It's an incredibly wonderful camera. I got two lenses (Canon EF-S 18-55 f/2.8 IS and Tamaron 90 f/2.8 Macro), two flashes (the 580EX and the Macro Twin Light MT-24EX), and a new tripod (Manfrotto 3021PRO with a 488RC2 ball head). It's a delightful setup.
I set up a new photo set on Flickr with some of my better photos. If you're friends or family on Flickr, you can see a few extra pictures.
I've also set up an account on Smugmug. I did this because Flickr doesn't have the fine-grained security I need occasionally. I needed to share a set to only one person, so I needed a password-protected set; such is trivial on Smugmug. I also put a public photo set on Smugmug of some of my Mom's dolls. Enjoy.
I've got a lot on my mind right now. One thing is my work; it is in a state of flux; once it's stabilized, I'll post more. I hope this will be be soon.
