I saw the movie Cars last night. Pixar has outdone themselves once again. How do they do it? They are just incredible. They showed a preview for their next film, Ratatoullie. It looks like they'll be continuing their trend.
Back to quality.
I filled out a questionnaire today. It asked me to rank the "quality" of a particular thing, and then to define quality itself. I gave the definition above, as I am wont to do such a thing without consulting the revered OED.
I thought about it: how do I define quality? Good or superior workmanship, components, and composition. To me, that is something of quality.
Do I consider myself a person of quality? My definition doesn't match this sense, but OED 9c does. I am good at certain things, excellent at times. I feel I rarely meet my own expectations. I need to work on this fact.
Oh, and yes, Cars is a movie of particular quality. I Highly recommend it.
