This is an interesting article...

I know it's been way too long since I last posted, and I probably should post some general update. But to be completely honest, not much has happened in the past few months. Here's a fairly accurate one-sentence summary: I've been studying theology.

I found this incredible article today on Christianity Today's web site:

A Divine Conspirator - Christianity Today Magazine
Dallas Willard is on a quiet quest to subvert nominal Christianity.

I'm only halfway through the article. So far, I agree with Dr. Willard's point of view. I can't wait to read the article more thoroughly. If you have any thoughts on this article, please comment. I'd love to have a discussion on it.

Willard is a missionary to our culture and this missional life is inspiring. He connects with our culture without ignoring the gospel. Reading that article made me think of Paul who discussed the philosophy of the age and then took aspects of truth found in that philosophical system to point back to Jesus and the God of Christianity.

It’s a lot easier to sit back in our Christian bubble than it is to be missionaries to our neighbors, friends and culture.
